About the IDEA Fund
The IDEA Fund program is a state-sponsored venture capital program that utilizes public funding (both state and federal) to drive private capital investment into technology-based businesses within Missouri, promoting their growth and economic development.

- CapyBio — Technologies that help organizations identify, evaluate, and improve cell quality to support research, drug development, cell manufacturing, and cell therapy.
- Pluton Biosciences — Biological fertilizers that improve nutrient use efficiency for growers, supplying nitrogen and phosphorus when crops need them most, lowering input costs, and reducing exposure to volatile synthetic-fertilizer markets.
- Preddio Technologies — Operational intelligence solutions using patented wireless sensors and cloud software to monitor industrial equipment and processes in real time.
- Vroom Power — Patented battery-free solar stabilization technology that enables the direct use of solar power without grid interconnection.

Application Deadlines
MTC accepts IDEA Fund applications throughout the year and reviews applications on a quarterly cycle to determine award allocation. Awarded companies for the IDEA Fund have up to six months to secure the matching co-investment, close their funding round, и
