Supporting Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Missouri

The Sponsorship Program prioritizes supporting events that offer exposure to recruit potential applicants for MTC’s active programs, support MTC’s core stakeholders, and foster partnerships with organizations that share MTC’s mission and vision.

Applicants must demonstrate a significant economic development impact on Missouri’s innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem, align with the Catalyzing Innovation Report, and identify matching funds from other third-party sponsors.

Provide a detailed list of sponsorship levels with clearly defined benefits for each level. Events already supported through an active MTC grant are not eligible for additional funding through the sponsorship program.

Sponsorship requests are assessed based on alignment with MTC’s mission, contribution to increasing MTC’s brand awareness, potential to enhance MTC’s reputation, and feasibility of fulfilling the sponsorship commitment.

Requests that benefit an individual person or family, prizes, raffles, or gifts, and political candidates, political organizations, or lobbying efforts are not eligible for sponsorship.

Applications are accepted year-round and evaluated promptly upon submission. To facilitate a timely review of applications and payment prior to the event, MTC recommends submitting applications at least three months before funding is needed.
